Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
This significant update includes two new 5-star characters:
- Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character focused on team synergy. His abilities enhance ally damage and summon damage, with his ultimate providing regeneration and further damage boosts.
- Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire version of Tingyun. Masterful at shattering enemy defenses, Fugue weakens opponents and increases squadmates' Break Effect damage.
The limited Warp event also features the return of popular characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. Version 2.7 also adds new in-game features, such as the relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer's quarters, accessible through the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event. Future updates are on the horizon. Version 3.0 will include Relic system improvements, the continuation of the Path of Remembrance storyline, and new content such as memosprites. A free 5-star character is available through the Gift of the Express event, lasting until Version 3.2.
