Following the successful 2.4 update, Wuthering Waves prepares to unveil version 2.5: Unfading Melody of Life on July 24th across all platforms. This substantial update introduces a brand-new Resonator, expands the game world, advances the narrative, and brings multiple gameplay refinements alongside special events.
Story & World Expansion
The update continues the central narrative with Chapter II Act VII: Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens. Players will explore the newly added Fabricatorium of the Deep location, encountering formidable new enemies including Nightmare: Hecate, Galcio Predator, and the challenging Phantom: Nightmare Inferno Rider.
New Playable Character
The highlight of version 2.5 is the debut of Phrolova, available through the limited-time Requiem Without End banner. Her signature weapon, Lethean Elegy, will also appear in a concurrent Weapon Convene event.
Gameplay Enhancements
A new Sonata Effect, Dream of the Lost, provides critical hit rate and Echo Skill damage bonuses when maintaining zero Resonance Energy. The update also introduces several quality-of-life improvements:
- Customizable Echo management with auto-lock/discard options
- Sync Tuning for streamlined Echo upgrades
- 10-team preset slots
- Resonator skill music customization

Time-limited activities include:
- Phantasma Dreamland event
