In Pokémon TCG Pocket, Sleep is a significant hindrance. While easily cured, it can be detrimental. This guide details Sleep's effects and cures.

Understanding Sleep in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Sleep renders a Pokémon unable to attack, use abilities, or retreat. An active Pokémon afflicted with Sleep is effectively incapacitated until cured.

Curing Sleep

Two primary methods exist:

  1. Coin Toss: Each turn, a coin toss determines if the Sleep status is cured. This can happen quickly or take several turns.

  2. Evolution: Evolving a sleeping Pokémon instantly cures the condition.

A less common method involves the Koga Trainer card, which returns a sleeping Weezing or Muk to your hand.
