Learning to read is the cornerstone of a child's educational future. Yet, keeping children engaged and focused during the often mechanical and repetitive tasks of reading practice is a significant challenge.
To serve as a supportive tool for children learning to read in Spanish, we created MaLé Sistema de Lectura. This virtual tutor guides your child through an adventure, designed to practice and reinforce the mechanical aspects of reading in Spanish.
Throughout the process, phonological awareness of syllable combinations, words, and sentences is developed. Featuring interactive dialogue rooted in positive psychology and emotional intelligence principles, the MaLé Reading System helps children enjoy their reading journey through play, transforming learning into a fun, positive, and rewarding challenge.
The MaLé Reading System is designed for school-age children from Kindergarten through third grade, or ages 4 and up.
The MaLé Reading System is:
- Structured, organized, and based on the syllabic method to align seamlessly with standard school curricula.
- Interactive, engaging, and positive to maintain children's interest and motivation.
- Designed to develop vocabulary.
- Gradually increases in difficulty to nurture children's self-esteem and love of reading.
- Systematized using the Kaizen methodology: "Small, continuous improvements."
- Day 1: Syllable Practice
- Day 2: Word Practice
- Day 3: Sentence Practice
- Each game day, children progress through 3 stages: explanation, practice, and self-evaluation.
- Recommended for three developmental or maturity stages:
- Stage 1: Decoding (Pre-school - 1st Grade)
- Stage 2: Fluency (1st - 2nd Grade)
- Stage 3: Writing (2nd - 3rd Grade)
