Sony has announced an exciting lineup of titles for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, bringing a diverse selection of games to Extra and Premium subscribers. The full list was unveiled in a PlayStation.Blog post, promising a rich variety of gaming experiences starting May 20.
For those subscribed to the Extra tier, nine new games will be available on both PS4 and PS5. Leading the pack is Sand Land, an action RPG based on the iconic manga by Akira Toriyama. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter has also been announced for an enhanced version on PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, set to release on the same date. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on console will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus members.
Premium members are in for a treat with the addition of Battle Engine Aquila, a classic sci-fi action game where players pilot a versatile war machine capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground. This title will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
