AFK Journey Tier List
Many AFK Journey heroes are suitable for most content. However, some outperform others in challenging endgame scenarios. This tier list prioritizes versatility and performance across PvE, Dream Realm, and PvP.

S-Tier Characters
Lily May, a recent addition, is a top-tier Wilder, offering significant damage and utility. She excels in PvP (countering Eironn teams), PvE, and Dream Realm. Thoran remains a top F2P tank, even alongside Phraesto (a luxury unit). Reinier is a crucial support for both PvE and PvP (especially Dream Realm and Arena). Koko and Smokey & Meerky are essential supports across all game modes, while Odie shines in Dream Realm and PvE. Eironn, with Damien and Arden, forms a dominant Arena team. Tasi, another strong Wilder, offers excellent crowd control in most modes. Harak, a Hypogean/Celestial Warrior, significantly increases in power as battles progress.
A-Tier Characters
Lyca and Vala effectively utilize the crucial Haste stat, boosting attack frequency and speed. Lyca provides party-wide Haste, while Vala increases her own with each marked enemy kill. Antandra is a solid tank alternative to Thoran. Viperian complements a Graveborn core with energy drain and AoE attacks (though less effective in Dream Realm). Alsa, a strong DPS mage, is a viable alternative to Carolina in PvP, especially with Eironn. Phraesto, a durable Hypogean/Celestial tank, lacks damage output. Ludovic is a powerful Graveborn healer, synergizing well with Talene and excelling in PvP. Cecia, once a top DPS, is now more situational. Sonja enhances the Lightborne faction with respectable damage and utility.
B-Tier Characters
B-Tier characters are suitable for filling roles but lack the power of S or A-Tier heroes. Valen and Brutus are strong early-game DPS options. Granny Dahnie is a decent alternative tank. Arden and Damien are PvP meta mainstays but less useful in other modes. Florabelle provides secondary DPS support but requires significant investment. Soren is decent in PvP but lacks effectiveness elsewhere. Korin's Dream Realm performance has diminished.
C-Tier Characters
C-Tier characters are generally outclassed quickly. While useful early-game, they should be replaced with higher-tier options as soon as possible. Parisa, despite a powerful AoE attack, is easily replaced.
