Clash Royale players are celebrating as the Inferno Dragon finally gets its long-awaited Evolution form. Nine years after its introduction without evolutionary capabilities, this legendary fire-breather has received a game-changing power boost. The Evolution version fundamentally changes how the Inferno Dragon operates on the battlefield. While the original version reset its damage buildup when switching targets, the evolved form maintains its escalating damage for devastating effect.
New Season Ignites With Inferno Dragon Evolution
Dubbed "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", the current season introduces both the Inferno Dragon Evolution and the return of the 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.
Starting from Arena 7, players can earn rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items through Milestone Events.
The first Crown Chase event offers a Battle Banner with custom frame and decoration plus an Epic Book of Cards, while the second installment provides another Battle Banner and 3 Evolution Shards.
To showcase the new Evolution features, developers have prepared various Game Modes and Challenges running through June and early July. Highlights include the Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9), Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9 with Battle Banner and Emote rewards), Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16 allowing 4 Evolution Cards per deck), Magical Trio (June 16-23), 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30), and Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7 permitting 8 Evolution Cards per deck).
