How to Boost Energy with Crystals in R.E.P.O.

Author : Aaliyah Apr 17,2025

Conquering a level in the thrilling co-op game *R.E.P.O.* is no small feat. After triumphing over the challenges, you and your team find yourselves at the Service Station, where a variety of weapons and upgrades await, including the valuable Energy Crystals. Let's delve into the role of Energy Crystals in *R.E.P.O.* and explore how you can acquire more of them.

What Are Energy Crystals in R.E.P.O.?

Energy Crystals, those gleaming yellow gems found at the Service Station, become available after you complete your first level or location. Priced between $7K and $9K, they are most affordable early in the game when the difficulty is at its lowest. If you've managed to navigate the initial challenges without taking too much damage from the monsters, you'll have a better chance of purchasing these crystals right away.

Once you've invested in an Energy Crystal, it will spawn an Energy Container/Station inside your R.E.P.O. truck. This container is a game-changer, as it allows you to recharge essential tools like the Valuables or Extraction Tracker by simply placing them inside. Not only does this reduce the need for purchasing replacements, but it also helps save money for your team in the long run. To recharge an item, place it in the bin next to the container, which is easily identifiable by its yellow lightning bolt. This will prepare you to take on the next Clown, Gnome, or Shadow Child with renewed vigor.

Energy Crystals automatically appear in the container upon purchase, so there's no need to worry about them not being in the truck when you need them. However, keep in mind that these crystals have a finite lifespan and will eventually break after repeated use. One crystal can typically refill four battery sections of an item, while six crystals are required to fully recharge the Energy Container.

How To Get More Energy Crystals in R.E.P.O.

Energy Crystals are exclusively available for purchase at the Service Station, but they can be quite costly. To ensure you have enough funds to stock up on these essential items, it's crucial to loot and scavenge as many valuables as possible during each level. Only by completing a level with sufficient cash will the Taxman send you to the Service Station.

In particularly challenging locations, it's often wise to focus on surviving with just enough money to pass the level rather than risking everything. This strategy helps you maintain your resources and increases your chances of reaching the Service Station to buy more Energy Crystals.

And that's the rundown on what Energy Crystals do in *R.E.P.O.* and how to acquire more of them. Dive back into the game, strategize your resource management, and keep your tools powered up for the battles ahead.
