And if you love in-game socializing, you’ll enjoy the over 100 new NPC dialogues that deepen interactions with the town’s quirky residents. There are a bunch of crazy new items in Stardew Valley 1.6 as well. There’s the Big Chest (almost double the size of a regular chest), a dehydrator for drying fruit and mushrooms, a heavy furnace and even a bait maker for creating specific fish baits.New furniture styles and over 25 new hats give you plenty of customization options. You can even start collecting prize tickets from completing quests and festival events, redeemable at a prize machine in Lewis’ house.Stardew Valley Update 1.6 on mobile lets you have multiple pets after maxing out hearts with your starter one. And they might bring you gifts and you can now put hats on them. You’ll also notice that NPCs now don winter outfits. There’s a golden Joja parrot to help you locate the last golden walnuts on Ginger Island. As for new crops, Stardew Valley 1.6 lets you grow carrots, summer squash, broccoli and powdermelon and two giant crops. Why The Delay? The delay in getting the Stardew Valley 1.6 update to mobile and consoles is because the devs wanted to test everything on PC first to catch any bugs.
