Reiner Knizia

Spiralburst Studio presents the official digital version of a beloved board game: Reiner Knizia's My City — a strategic city-building experience. The tile-laying board game was nominated for the Spiel des Jahres in 2020 and won the International Gamers Award for Two-Player Games in 2021.

Discover Reiner Knizia’s My City

In My City, your goal is to skillfully position buildings on your personal board to maximize points. Each round, a card shows which structure you must build — you then decide its ideal placement.

Rocks can block your progress, while preserving trees rewards you with bonus points. As you advance, new mechanics, scoring variations, and evolving terrain keep the gameplay fresh.

The digital edition includes a full 24-episode legacy-style Campaign, where rules and strategies evolve through story-driven challenges.

Exclusive to the app, the Randomized Game remixes the rules, layouts, and even the river course in every playthrough.

Trees, rocks, and landmarks appear in new positions, and campaign rules can be turned on or off to craft a unique puzzle each session. For a more classic experience, the Eternal Game recreates the original board game format.

As another app-only feature, the Daily Challenge pits players worldwide against randomly generated rule sets and boards. For a peek into the action, take a look at this clip.

Plenty of ways to play!

Reiner Knizia's My City offers solo and competitive modes. Compete with up to three AI rivals, or join online cross-platform multiplayer for two to four players.

Offline play and an interactive tutorial are also offered for beginners. Accessibility has been considered too, with high-contrast visuals, colorblind-friendly symbols, and alternative building textures.

The game is available on the Google Play Store for $6.99.
