Author : Layla Apr 13,2025

Embarking on your journey through the enchanting Ligneus Region in *Atelier Yumia*, you'll soon discover the joy of setting up camp with Yumia and her companions. Understanding when and where to build your camp can be a bit tricky at first, but don't worry—here's a comprehensive guide on how to camp in *Atelier Yumia*.

How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia

Unlocking the ability to craft Camping Sets becomes possible after you clear the manabound Dux Lighthouse. This marks the first manabound area you'll tackle in the story. Once you've built a base on the newly revealed land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.

To craft a Camping Set, you'll need the following materials:

  • 5% Energy
  • 3 Wood
  • 2 Water
  • 5 Fiber
  • 2 Charcoal

These resources are easily accessible around the Ligneus Survey Base. You can collect Water from wells scattered throughout the region or by harvesting plants along river shores, which also yields Fiber. Charcoal is obtained by breaking ore.

Once you have all the materials, access the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4×4 space available to craft the Camping Set. If not, the set will be sent to your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.

Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia

With your Camping Set ready, you can set up camp in any open space of land. Be mindful that you cannot camp in cramped areas like narrow cliffs or dense forests. Look for more spacious areas, such as the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base, which are ideal for setting up a temporary base.

If you have a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, check the radial menu. The Camping option in the bottom right corner will be highlighted if the spot is suitable for camping. If it's greyed out, you'll need to find another location.

What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia

Camping is your exclusive opportunity to cook the food you've gathered during your explorations. It's crucial to set up camp before tackling a boss or entering a manabound area, especially on higher difficulties, to ensure you're well-prepared and rested.

Additionally, camping provides a unique chance to engage in conversations with your companions. While these dialogues don't impact the main storyline, they offer deeper insights into their personalities and backgrounds, enriching your overall experience.
