King, the creators of Candy Crush Saga, are entering the solitaire arena with their new game, Candy Crush Solitaire, launching February 6th on iOS and Android. This isn't just any solitaire game; it blends the classic tripeaks solitaire gameplay with the familiar boosters, blockers, and progression system of the Candy Crush franchise.

The game's release likely stems from the recent success of Balatro, a roguelike poker game. While other developers have rushed to create imitations, King is taking a more considered approach, leveraging their established brand recognition to create a unique solitaire experience.

Pre-registration is now open on both iOS and Android. Early birds will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a special card back, 5,000 Coins, four undos, two fish cards, and three color bomb cards.
