Radical Fish Games Announces Alabaster Dawn: A New Action RPG

Gamescom 2024 Appearance

The creators of the acclaimed *CrossCode* have officially lifted the veil on their next endeavor: *Alabaster Dawn*. Previously known under the codename "Project Terra," the game's reveal was made via a recent post on the developer's website. Targeting a late 2025 Steam Early Access release, *Alabaster Dawn* is now available for wishlisting. While a precise release date remains unannounced, a public demo is planned for the future.

For those attending Gamescom 2024, Radical Fish Games will be present, offering a limited number of attendees a hands-on preview of Alabaster Dawn. While play sessions will be limited, the team invites everyone to visit their booth from Wednesday to Friday for a chat.

Crosscode Devs' New Game

Alabaster Dawn unfolds in the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, devastated by the goddess Nyx, who has left it a wasteland and caused the disappearance of other gods and humanity. You assume the role of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, tasked with reawakening the remnants of humanity and breaking Nyx's curse.

Expect an immersive experience with an estimated 30-60 hours of gameplay spread across seven diverse regions. Rebuild settlements, establish trade routes, and engage in fast-paced combat, drawing inspiration from titles like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and the studio's own CrossCode. Master eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree, and utilize parkour, solve puzzles, utilize enchantments, and even hone your culinary skills with the in-game cooking mechanic.

The developers shared a significant milestone: the first 1-2 hours of gameplay are nearing completion. While seemingly a small portion, they emphasize the importance of this achievement in the development process.
