Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, an atmospheric first-person action-adventure game inspired by 2023's acclaimed Dredge. Players will captain fishing trawlers through post-apocalyptic waters, battling mutated creatures while uncovering lost civilizations beneath the waves. Currently in development for PC, the game combines survival mechanics with deep-sea exploration.
Dreadmoor Gameplay Overview
Dream Dock sets the scene: "Take command of your fishing vessel in a world forever changed by nuclear catastrophe. With continents now submerged, navigate between scattered islands and the eerie remnants of fallen civilizations. Trade your catches with struggling survivors, complete crucial missions, and gradually upgrade your vessel to survive increasing threats. Manage your cargo carefully - some aquatic specimens might turn on each other! Craft specialized gear to plumb the ocean's darkest secrets, where radiation-twisted horrors and unsolved mysteries await both above and below the surface... especially after sunset."
