Dynasty Warriors Origins: Healing Guide

Author : Hunter May 02,2025

Players of *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* may find themselves taking significant damage based on their skill level and the chosen difficulty setting. Newcomers to the franchise will likely be eager to learn how to heal early on in their playthrough. Fortunately, healing in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* is straightforward, primarily involving the use of a special consumable item. The game also offers an auto-healing feature, which is beneficial for those who prefer not to constantly monitor their health bar.

How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, healing is achieved by using meat buns, which can be obtained by breaking pots scattered around enemy bases. Additionally, Meat buns may be dropped by defeated Enemy Officers, but this only occurs on the Historian and Wayfarer difficulty settings. On the more challenging Hero and Ultimate Warrior difficulties, officers will not drop meat buns.

To heal during battle, players can consume a meat bun by pressing Up on the D-Pad, provided they have at least one in their inventory. If a player's inventory is full upon collecting a meat bun, it will be automatically consumed unless the player is at full health, in which case it remains on the ground. Initially, players can carry up to three meat buns, but this capacity can be expanded using the Meat Bun Glutton skill if three isn't sufficient.

For those who prefer not to manage their healing manually, the "Auto-Use Meat Buns" option can be enabled in the Configuration menu. This feature automatically uses meat buns when the player's health drops below a certain threshold. Even with this option enabled, players can still manually use meat buns, making it a versatile choice for all players.
