FromSoftware has teased enhanced encounters with Elden Ring Nightreign's major bosses, set to launch later this month. In the meantime, a modder has unearthed actual components of these upcoming battles and made them playable.
On June 3, the official Elden Ring account announced that, in addition to the Nightreign expansion and the new Duo Expeditions mode, the game will receive improved fights against existing Nightlords starting this month. While details were limited, the announcement prompted the community to investigate further.
Modder TerraMag, as reported by PC Gamer, discovered the new boss content already present in the game files and created a mod to make it accessible. Keep in mind that these are incomplete versions based on the enhanced assets found.
Specifically, TerraMag's findings – shared via YouTube videos – appear to introduce third phases for several Nightlords, including Adel, Libra, and Caligo. These additions can feature new moves, updated boss models, and fresh challenges for Nightfarers.
Since these are unfinished and not officially integrated, they only offer a preview of what the enhanced confrontations might include when they launch this month. For players seeking more demanding trials, this presents an engaging challenge and motivation to revisit the ever-changing Lands.
