Fortnite launched a permanent OG game mode in early December 2024, instantly captivating both new and longtime players. The return of the Chapter 1 map, a long-requested feature, was met with enthusiastic approval.

Similar to Chapter 6, Fortnite Festival, and LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite OG features a paid battle pass. However, its duration differs, prompting questions about its lifespan. This guide provides the answers.

When Does Fortnite OG Season 1 End?

The Fortnite OG Pass, released December 6, 2024, offers 45 cosmetic rewards.

Unlike standard Battle Royale seasons (like the current Chapter 6 Season 1), which typically run three months, the OG Pass has a shorter duration, concluding before reaching two months. Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 ends January 31, 2025, at 5 AM ET / 10 AM GMT / 2 AM PT.

When Does Fortnite OG Season 2 Start?

Season 2 of the original Fortnite Battle Royale significantly expanded the game, introducing core features that shaped its current form. Therefore, the upcoming OG Season might have a longer run.

Following the conclusion of Fortnite OG Season 1, expect Fortnite OG Season 2 to launch around the usual time: January 31, 2025, at 9 AM ET / 2 PM GMT / 6 AM PT.
