How To Get and Use the Global Palbox in Palworld

Author : Lucas Mar 21,2025

The similarities between Pokémon and Palworld just got a whole lot closer with the introduction of a game-changing feature: Pal transfer between worlds! This exciting addition, part of the latest update, lets you share your favorite Pals across different game worlds. Sounds simple, right? Well, it might take a little figuring out, so let's dive into how to get and use the new Global Palbox in Palworld.

How To Get the Global Palbox in Palworld

Following the March 2025 update, the Global Palbox is readily available to all Palworld players. To access it, simply head to the Build screen and navigate to the Pal section. You'll spot the Global Palbox—a futuristic-looking structure with a distinctive radio dish. Construction requires 1 Paldium Fragment, 8 Wood, and 3 Stone.

These resources are relatively common; veteran players likely have them in abundance. However, if you're short on supplies, here's a quick rundown of where to find them:

ResourceLocation
WoodHarvested by cutting trees.
StoneHarvested by mining rocks.
Paldium FragmentHarvested by mining Paldium rocks.

How To Use the Global Palbox in Palworld

Global Palbox data in Palworld.

Unlike Pokémon's direct transfer system, Palworld utilizes a genetic data transfer method. You store your Pal's genetic information in a global database, then reconstruct the Pal in a different world. This clever system lets you keep your original Pal while creating a copy in another world. Remember, though: only one copy of a specific Pal can exist in each world.

If you're ready to share your cherished Pals, follow these steps:

Copying a Pal's Genetic Data

  1. Load your first Palworld world.
  2. Construct and open the Global Palbox.
  3. Locate your desired Pal.
  4. Transfer the Pal's Genetic Data to the Global database.

Reconstructing a Pal

  1. Load your second Palworld world.
  2. Construct and open the Global Palbox.
  3. Retrieve the desired Pal's Genetic Data.
  4. Move the data to your boxes to reconstruct the Pal.
  5. Add the reconstructed Pal to your party.

Repeat this process as needed to populate your other worlds with your favorite Pals. This exciting feature adds a new dimension to Pal collecting, allowing them to thrive across multiple worlds.

That's all there is to getting and using the Global Palbox in Palworld! For more Palworld tips and tricks, check out our guide on transporting items between locations.

Palworld is currently available in Early Access on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
