Sunborn's Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, incorporates gacha mechanics. A common question among players concerns pity counter carryover between banners. Let's clarify.

Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium?

Yes, your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the next limited-time banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners shared a pity counter. Pulling on either banner increased the counter for both. If you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, switching to Ullrid would still grant you a 50/50 chance at Ullrid on your next pull.

This shared pity system applies to future limited-time banners, as confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Once the Suomi and Ullrid banners end, your accumulated pity will transfer to the subsequent limited-time banner.

However, it's crucial to note that pity does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner until near pity, then switching to a limited banner for a guaranteed rate-up character.

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually increase until you reach hard pity at 80 pulls.

This explanation clarifies pity carryover in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game tips, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location guides, check out The Escapist.
