Rockstar has officially unveiled the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, and fans are already buzzing with one key question: what's the track playing in the latest GTA 6 trailer?
This two-and-a-half-minute sneak peek captures all the action and romance of Vice City, while reminding viewers that Rockstar always delivers an unforgettable soundtrack. Staying true to form, the new trailer features "Hot Together" by The Pointer Sisters. It’s another '80s classic that you won't hear much on the radio these days, but it perfectly sets the mood for the next open-world adventure from the GTA team.
"Hot Together" is the title song from the California trio’s 1986 pop R&B album, running four minutes and 13 seconds. In addition to being a sultry, danceable track with a clear '80s vibe, it fits seamlessly into the revitalized Vice City. While it's not among The Pointer Sisters’ top 10 most streamed songs on Spotify at the moment, that’s likely to change as the day progresses.
GTA 6 was first officially teased with its debut trailer back in December 2023. That initial footage offered a dreamy glimpse into Rockstar's new world, set to Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road." Besides reviving the song's popularity, the video sparked fan speculation about how the classic track from Full Moon Fever might hint at GTA 6’s story and characters. No doubt, fans will be picking apart "Hot Together" just as eagerly while we await the game’s launch next year.
