"Guide to Obtaining and Utilizing the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O."

Author : Henry May 13,2025

In the chilling universe of *R.E.P.O.*, your survival hinges on the items you collect, which can either propel you to the next level or lead you straight into the dreaded Disposal Arena alongside your teammates. Among these critical tools, Recharge Drones stand out as vital assets for success. Here’s how to acquire and utilize them effectively.

What Recharge Drones Do

In *R.E.P.O.*, while some items like Mines and Grenades are one-and-done at the Service Station, others boast a "battery life" that can be rejuvenated with Energy Crystals. As you embark on your journey, you'll spot a container in your truck that's pivotal for recharging your weapons or drones, albeit at the cost of an Energy Crystal. When you buy additional Energy Crystals, they seamlessly integrate into the container, so don't fret when they vanish post-purchase. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket beside the container, restoring its health and keeping your arsenal in prime condition for the horrors ahead. Yet, as levels intensify, items can wear down quickly, especially with heavy use. While you can recharge at specific locations using Energy Crystals, you won't always have access to your truck. That's where the Recharge Drone shines, offering on-the-go energy management for your essential gear.

How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like all items and upgrades, becomes available at the Service Station, your go-to spot after conquering each level. This is where you can arm yourself with the tools needed to ease your next challenge, provided you have the funds. Keep in mind, the Service Station's inventory refreshes randomly, so you might need to visit a few times before the Recharge Drone appears. Once it does, expect to shell out between $4-5K for this game-changing cube, which will occupy one of your precious inventory slots. Assign it a number—1, 2, or 3—right after purchase.

You'll know when an item is running low on juice by checking the battery bar beneath it. To recharge, select the drone, hit 'E' to activate it, and then attach your drained item. Let the Recharge Drone work its magic! Once depleted, the drone itself can be rejuvenated using Energy Crystals back at the truck's container.

Now that you're equipped with the knowledge of how to find and operate the Recharge Drone in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better prepared to face the horrors and challenges that await.
