The official announcement of a GUNDAM TCG has thrilled fans worldwide! A promotional video posted on September 27th on the official GUNDAM TCG X (formerly Twitter) account launched the "#GUNDAM" global TCG project. This exciting news coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary, celebrating 45 years since the original series premiered. Whether the game will be solely physical or include an online component remains to be seen.Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement, livestreamed on Bandai's official YouTube channel. The event will feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a known GUNPLA enthusiast, participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, demonstrating his passion for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
