The highly anticipated v8.1 update for Honkai Impact 3rd, titled "Drumming in New Resolutions," is set to launch on February 20th, bringing with it a host of exciting new content. From new battlesuits and outfits to special anniversary rewards, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.
Let's Look at What's New
Kiana makes a fiery return with her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star. Equipped with a long staff, she unleashes a 4-sequence attack that inflicts Fire DMG and accumulates Passion Marks, paving the way for powerful AOE damage. Enhance her capabilities with the recommended weapon and PRI-ARM to truly make enemies feel the burn. The Herrscher of Human: Ego also receives new gear, including a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and stigmata set, to boost her performance.
On the narrative front, the v8.1 update delves deeper into Leylah's story. Following the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana is back in the real world, joining forces with Rice Cake on a new mission assigned by Theresa. Their destination? The Moon Base, for a festive celebration. By playing through the interlude, players can earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and other valuable rewards.
Additionally, a fun board feature allows you to activate and collect Yearly Chibis to build your team. You can also accumulate shop tokens, which can be exchanged for Crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and a variety of other rewards.

And Who Else Is Getting New Looks?
Beyond Coralie, Luna and Vita are also getting stylish upgrades. Luna's new outfit can be obtained through spend bonuses, while Vita's outfit will be available in the Outfit Supply.
The anniversary celebration brings a wealth of rewards. Simply logging in daily for seven days post-update will earn you a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Extend your login streak to seven days and you'll secure Kiana's Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human's new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.
From February 25th to March 4th, logging in will grant you an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and additional goodies. As a gesture of appreciation, everyone will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards upon the update's release.
