Imperial Miners Board Game Goes Digital on Android

Portal Games Digital has recently launched the digital version of the acclaimed board game, Imperial Miners, on Android. This engaging card game revolves around the thrill of mine-building, joining other successful titles by Portal Games Digital on the platform, such as Neuroshima Convoy, Imperial Settlers: Roll & Write, and Tides of Time.

Designed by the renowned game creator Tim Armstrong, known for his work on Arcana Rising and Orbis, Imperial Miners brings Armstrong's signature touch to the digital realm. The game's illustrations, crafted by the talented Hanna Kuik, whose portfolio includes notable works like Batman: Everybody Lies and Dune: House Secrets, add a visually rich experience to the gameplay.

Ever Played Imperial Miners?

In Imperial Miners, you take on the role of an underground excavation manager, tasked with constructing the most efficient mine through strategic card play. Your mission is to build a flourishing subterranean empire, starting from the surface and delving deeper to gather valuable Crystals and Carts, which contribute to your Victory Points.

The game features an innovative system where each card you play not only activates its own effect but also triggers effects from cards placed above it. With six different factions to choose from, players can create unique combinations that enhance gameplay dynamics.

Building your mine is not just about placing cards; you have 10 rounds to perfect your strategy, with each round introducing a new Event. These Events can vary in difficulty, potentially disrupting or enhancing your plans.

As you progress, you'll advance on the Progress boards. Out of six boards, three are randomly selected each game, offering different strategic paths and ensuring varied gameplay with each session.

Will You Get It?

Imperial Miners is a captivating engine-building game that invites players to explore the depths of their own mine. The digital adaptation faithfully captures the essence of the original board game by Portal Games. Priced at $4.99 on the Google Play Store, it's an affordable option for fans of strategic card games.
