inZOI System Requirements Show the Price of Higher Quality Graphics

inZOI sets a high bar for system specifications to ensure a smooth gaming experience, as Krafton has unveiled the game's detailed system requirements and optimal settings. Dive in to discover more about inZOI's system requirements and how they vary across different hardware tiers.

inZOI Revealed System Requirements for the Game

RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement

Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has announced that the game demands robust system specifications for players to enjoy the best experience. On March 12, 2025, they shared the system requirements and optimal settings on their website, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High.

At the minimum level, inZOI requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 for graphics, paired with an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This is a significant jump from the system requirements of EA's Sims 4, which only needs an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton justified this by stating, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which require higher system specifications to run smoothly."

For recommended settings, the game calls for an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics, along with an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 CPU. The highest settings demand an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 graphics card and an Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU.

This requirement aligns with the impressive visuals showcased in inZOI's trailers, which leverage the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. Although Krafton has plans to bring the game to PS5 and Xbox, as mentioned on inZOI's official Discord, the game's high PC specs suggest that further optimization will be necessary for console versions.

Graphics Comparison by System Specs

Krafton has released a video comparing the graphics quality across the different system specifications. The video highlights variations in lighting, textures, and color, with the highest PC specs delivering the most visually stunning experience.

Despite these high requirements, inZOI may face challenges in reaching the broad player base enjoyed by competitors like Sims 4 due to its demanding specs. However, Krafton remains committed to accessibility, stating, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain committed to making inZOI accessible to more players." They plan to introduce a feature that automatically adjusts game settings for optimal performance and are working on optimizations to lower system requirements without sacrificing quality.

inZOI will host a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on its official YouTube and Twitch channels. This event will cover early access pricing, DLC, the developmental roadmap, and answer fan questions.

inZOI will launch in early access on Steam on March 28, and will also be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The full release date is yet to be announced. Stay updated with the latest on inZOI by visiting our dedicated page.
