Initially slated for an early access release by the end of the year, the game's launch has been rescheduled to March 28, 2025. Director Hyungjin "Kjun" Kim announced this news on the game’s Discord server, emphasizing that the additional time will enhance the game's overall quality and player experience.
Kjun likened the extended development period to raising a child, stating, "Among primates, raising a human child to adulthood takes the longest." This metaphor underscores the team's dedication to ensuring inZOI reaches its full potential. Positive feedback from character creator demos and playtests has significantly influenced this decision, highlighting the team's responsibility to deliver a comprehensive experience.
"After reviewing your feedback from inZOI… we have decided to release inZOI in Early Access on March 28, 2025," Kjun explained. "We apologize for the delay, but this choice reflects our commitment to providing inZOI with the best possible launch."
