KEMCO Unveils Metro Quester: A New Mobile RPG with Hack & Slash Dungeon Exploration

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has just landed on Android, and it's not your typical KEMCO title. While it retains the essence of a turn-based JRPG, it dives deep into the gritty, old-school dungeon crawler genre, offering a fresh twist for fans.

Seek the Truth of a Lost World

In this game, you and your crew are scavengers, venturing underground to gather resources before your weekly food quota runs dry. The critical number to remember is 100—you need to collect 100 food units every seven in-game days to survive. To achieve this, you'll explore monster-infested ruins in areas like Otemachi and Ginza, scavenging for leftovers. Remember, you can't level up until you return to a proper camp, provided you've survived and gathered sufficient resources.

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash boasts 24 unique characters, each belonging to one of eight distinct classes. Customizing your combo skills, weapons, and strategies is entirely up to you. Each ability consumes action points, and you're limited to five points per turn, with each ability usable only once per round, making strategic planning crucial.

As you navigate the dungeon, it unfolds before you. You might discover food buried in the dirt, stumble upon monster nests, pick up keys to unlock new areas, or even find a campground to establish a new base.

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android

The game's aesthetic is intentionally minimalistic, maintaining a bleak and colorless environment that starkly contrasts with your vibrant team. You can get a closer look at the game's atmosphere right here.

For those who enjoy a challenge, Metro Quester – Hack & Slash also offers a NEW GAME+ mode, perfect for replaying the game with heightened difficulty.

Available now on Android for $14.99, the game does not support game controllers and is offered in English and Japanese. You can download it directly from the Google Play Store.
