Here's everything we know about Magic: The Gathering: Edge of Eternities so far:
What is MTG Edge of Eternities?
In 2025, Wizards of the Coast is embracing the 'Universes Beyond' sets, starting with Final Fantasy and followed by Spider-Man and Avatar: The Last Airbender. While these sets draw from well-known franchises outside their own universe, Edge of Eternities stands in contrast, focusing on a more cosmic theme within the Magic universe. Positioned between Final Fantasy and Spider-Man releases, this set introduces the final chapter of the Metronome storyline, which kicked off with Wilds of Eldraine. Though we've only seen concept art so far, anticipation is high for what's to come.

Play Boosters have emerged as the go-to option for opening packs, replacing Set and Draft Boosters. Each pack contains 15 cards suitable for draft and sealed play, with the last card typically being an advertisement, art card, or token. Cards 1 through 6 are commons, while card 7 is a common that can be a reprint. Cards 8, 9, and 10 are uncommons, and card 11 is a rare or mythic rare. Card 12 is a Land card, which can be foil or have full art, and card 13 is a "wildcard" that can be any card from the set. Card 14 guarantees a foil card, increasing the chances of finding sought-after chase cards. Play Boosters are available individually or in booster boxes.
