Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces a thrilling new map: the Sanctum Sanctorum. This iconic location will host the game's newest mode, Doom Match, a chaotic free-for-all for 8-12 players where the top half emerge victorious.
Beyond the Sanctum Sanctorum, Midtown and Central Park will also join the game's roster. Midtown will be the backdrop for a new convoy mission, while Central Park's features remain largely under wraps, promised for a mid-season update.
The Sanctum Sanctorum itself is a visual spectacle, blending opulent décor with surreal elements. A recently released video showcases floating kitchenware, a bizarre creature escaping the refrigerator, winding staircases, and magically suspended bookshelves. This season's narrative pits the Fantastic Four against Dracula, who has ensnared Doctor Strange.
