Known Habitats – Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and Ruins of Wyveria
Breakable Parts – Tail and Forelegs
Recommended Elemental Attack – Fire and Lightning
Effective Status Effects – Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (2x), Blastblight (2x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
Effective Items – Flash Pod, Shock Trap, Pitfall Trap
Use Flash Pod
Doshaguma, despite its massive size, is incredibly agile, capable of jumping and dashing across the arena. This makes it challenging for melee weapon users to land hits. A strategic approach is to deploy a Flash Pod, which will temporarily blind the monster, providing a window to attack or even mount its back.
Attack the Legs
Targeting Doshaguma’s legs is key, particularly the forelegs, which have a 3-star weakness. The back legs are less vulnerable with a 2-star rating. Additionally, the head is another prime target with a 3-star weakness. While less damaging, attacking the tail is worthwhile as it can break, yielding valuable parts.
Use Fire and Lightning
For the Doshaguma fight, fire and lightning are your go-to elements. Bowgun users should stock up on Flaming and Thunder ammo. Enhancing your weapons with fire skill decorations can also be beneficial. Focus fire attacks on the head and torso, while directing lightning strikes at the head for optimal damage.
Beware of Blastblight
Doshaguma can inflict Blastblight, a status effect that can lead to an explosion if not addressed. Counter this by using Nulberries or Deodorant, or by dodge-rolling three times to clear the ailment.
Use Traps
Leverage the environment to your advantage; the areas where Doshaguma roams often contain natural traps. Ensure your weapon is sheathed before using your slinger to set off these traps, making sure the monster is positioned correctly.
