After a two-year early access period on PC, Mutants: Genesis has officially launched. The online card game is now available on Android, iOS, and Steam. Developed by Celsius Online, it features cards that literally come to life on the battlefield.
A Mutants Cards Game?
Mutants: Genesis transports you to a corporate-ruled, combat-driven future. Your objective is to build decks and summon mutants, which transform into animated creatures that battle within holographic arenas.
You assume the role of a Psycog, a strategic commander of genetically modified mutants in rapid-fire duels. As the new leader of the Panakeia team, you'll travel the globe competing in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League.
Throughout this journey, you'll encounter new Champions and unlock a steady stream of fresh cards, strategies, and gene-based abilities. This makes it a card game deeply focused on adaptation, planning, and evolving your tactics with every move.
Mutants: Genesis features a collection of over 200 cards, divided among six distinct gene types. The Tech gene emphasizes machinery and precision, granting mutants with abilities like Self-Repair and Dual Core for fast, resilient strikes.
In contrast, the Necro gene employs a darker theme, weaponizing death itself. Its cards can return from defeat even stronger and utilize unique resources like Bones to empower your forces.
The Blades gene rewards sharp tactical play, leveraging Orbs and conditional powers to seize control. Zoo embodies pure chaos, with mutants that swarm the field, evolve rapidly, and unleash surprises as they grow in power.
Space introduces a militaristic style, prioritizing squad unity and formidable fortress defenses. Finally, the Mystic gene lets magic dominate the battlefield, wielding powers like Burn and Stasis to control the pace while summoning legendary creatures.
