Navigate Through Clouds, Spiders, Lava in A Kindling Forest Auto-Runner!

A Kindling Forest is an exciting new game developed by Dennis Berndtsson, a solo developer who also works as a high-school teacher. This action-packed adventure is categorized as a side-scrolling auto-runner, featuring innovative mechanics and filled with forests, arrows, and plenty of lava.

What’s the Story of A Kindling Forest?

The storyline of A Kindling Forest revolves around an ancient demon causing chaos in the world. In response, forest spirits awaken an archer from the past, equip him with a bow, and send him on a crucial mission to defeat the demon. However, the journey in A Kindling Forest is anything but straightforward.

In this game, you're always on the move as the screen continuously scrolls, presenting you with numerous shards—sharp, menacing obstacles that vary in shapes and patterns. Your options are clear: dodge these shards or shoot them down with your arrows.

Arrows in A Kindling Forest are more than just weapons; they represent the forest spirits aiding you. Running out of arrows means game over, making every shot you take crucial.

The game is structured into five increasingly chaotic levels. You'll find yourself jumping over spiders, teleporting to mysterious ruins, flying over clouds, and navigating through lava fields.

Checkpoints throughout the game serve as vital lifelines, allowing you to restart and experiment with different strategies if you fail.

A unique feature of A Kindling Forest is the split-screen gameplay on your phone. One half is dedicated to jumping, and the other to shooting, with timing being essential. Additionally, the game includes a slow-motion feature when aiming, giving you just the right amount of time to line up your shots perfectly.
