Pixeljam Launches Cornhole Hero: Master the Art of Bag Throwing on Mobile

Pixeljam, a veteran in the gaming industry with two decades of experience, has just released a new mobile game titled Cornhole Hero. Available now on both Android and iOS, this game captures the essence of the popular American backyard sport of cornhole in a pixelated, minimalist style that emphasizes quick and enjoyable gameplay. After a hiatus from mobile gaming, Pixeljam makes a notable return with this quirky title, joining their portfolio which includes gems like Last Horizon and Potatoman Seeks the Troof.

What’s a Cornhole Hero?

Cornhole Hero is a simplified arcade version of the cornhole game, which has surged in popularity in the U.S., ranking just behind pickleball. The game offers three distinct modes, each identified by unique color schemes:

  • Tournament Mode (blue and white) challenges you to achieve the highest score possible with just five bags.
  • Blitz Mode (orange and yellow) is a fast-paced 30-second frenzy where you toss as many bags as you can.
  • Balloons Mode (purple and pink) lets you pop balloons using your beanbags for a fun twist on the traditional game.

The gameplay is straightforward yet engaging. Players swipe to toss their beanbags, aiming for the hole or balloons to score points. It’s all about mastering the timing and precision of your swipe to perfect your toss. You can get a feel for the game by watching the launch trailer below.

Will You Play It?

With its high-contrast colors and nostalgic pixel art, Cornhole Hero evokes the charm of classic arcade games, making it a perfect time-killer for casual gamers. The game is free to download on Android, with the option to remove ads through a one-time purchase. If you're in the market for a light-hearted, easy-to-pick-up game, Cornhole Hero is available now on the Google Play Store.
