Author : Peyton Mar 19,2025

Sniper Elite Resistance offers a thrilling single-player experience, packed with strategic sniping, stealthy maneuvers, and challenging missions. But the real fun begins when you team up with a friend. This guide explains how to dive into the cooperative and multiplayer action.

How to Play Co-op and Multiplayer in Sniper Elite Resistance

Whether you prefer playing with a friend or a random teammate, Sniper Elite Resistance caters to both. For a friend-filled experience, you'll need to host a co-op game. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the "Play" section in the top-left corner of the main menu.
  2. Select "Host a Co-op Game."
  3. Invite your friend directly (if they're already on your friends list) or generate an invite code by clicking your username in the top-right corner.
  4. Once your friend joins, choose your mission and get ready for some action!

To play with a stranger, simply select "Find a Co-op Game" from the "Play" menu. The game will match you with another player.

For multiplayer, choose "Multiplayer" from the main menu, select your preferred game mode, and then invite friends via your platform's friend system (Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, etc.) or using the invite code method described above. Experiment with the various modes and custom games—perfect for settling those friendly sniper rivalries!

How to Add Friends in Sniper Elite Resistance

Sniper Elite Resistance utilizes an invite code system for multiplayer. To play with friends, generate an invite code by clicking your username in the top-right corner of the screen. Share this code with your friend, who will then need to click their username and enter the code to join your game.

While the invite code system is primary, you can also add friends directly through your platform's social features (e.g., Steam friends list).

Sniper Elite Resistance Crossplay Support

One of the best features of Sniper Elite Resistance is its full crossplay support. Team up with friends regardless of whether they're playing on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation. Note that friend invites are handled through the invite code system, not direct friend lists across platforms.

That's all you need to know to conquer the multiplayer and co-op modes in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Sniper Elite Resistance is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
