Pokémon GO's "Inbound from Ultra Space" Event: A Five-Day Ultra Beast Extravaganza!
Get ready, Trainers! Pokémon GO is launching a five-day event, "Inbound from Ultra Space," bringing back a host of Ultra Beasts from July 8th to 13th, 2024. These interdimensional Pokémon, initially introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon, will be appearing in various five-star raids and Timed Research.
Regional Exclusives and Raid Battles:
This event introduces a significant geographical element. While several Ultra Beasts will be available globally, others are region-locked:
- Asia-Pacific: Xurkitree
- EMEA & India: Pheromosa
- Americas & Greenland: Buzzwole
- Eastern Hemisphere: Stakataka
- Western Hemisphere: Blacephalon
- Southern Hemisphere: Celesteela
- Northern Hemisphere: Kartana
Daily five-star raids will feature different Ultra Beasts, with a Raid Hour each day from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. Shiny versions of some Ultra Beasts will also be available.
Timed Research and Rewards:
Timed Research tasks will reward encounters with various Ultra Beasts, including Stakataka and Blacephalon, which will boast special Pokédex entries. New event-themed backgrounds will also be obtainable from raids and wild catches.
Event Bonuses:
- Increased daily Remote Raid Pass limit (20 from July 8th-11th, unlimited from July 12th-14th).
- Guaranteed Candy XL for trading Pokémon (Trainers level 31+).
Inbound from Ultra Space Ticket:
For $5 (or equivalent), an event ticket unlocks exclusive Timed Research with additional bonuses:
- 5,000 XP from completed raids
- 2x Stardust for winning Ultra Beast Raids
- Extra Candy and Candy XL for catching Pokémon in five-star raids
- Up to 2 free Raid Passes from Gyms (up to 10 daily with Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global ticket)
- Numerous Candy XL rewards for various Ultra Beasts and Cosmog.
The ticket is available for purchase and gifting (Great Friends or higher) from July 8th at 10:00 AM to July 14th at 6:00 PM local time. A web store purchase adds a Premium Battle Pass.
New Backgrounds:
Special backgrounds will be awarded for catching specific Pokémon from raids, adding a collectible element to the event.
Global Challenge:
A Global Challenge will run from July 7th to 12th (PDT), impacting Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global. Completion unlocks Beast Balls and faster Party Power charging.
