Populus Run Debuts: Subway Surfers Meets Food Frenzy

Populus Run is a new game on Android. Actually, some of you must have played it already on iOS. It was an Apple Arcade exclusive since January 2021, but now it’s making its way to Android and iOS ‘non-exclusively.’The game will somehow remind you of Fall Guys (maybe the visuals?) but it’s actually an endless runner like Subway Surfers, but with a weird twist. Instead of dodging trains, you’re dodging giant fast food!Love Junk Food? Say Ready, Set, Yum!The huge fast food looks more yummy than scary in Populus Run. There are massive burgers, cupcakes and even noodle rappers which are out to get you. And it’s not a single character you’ll be guiding; you’ll be in charge of a crowd of people! But don’t worry, your goal is to keep at least one of them alive while avoiding the oversized food obstacles. It’s fun and is a fresh take on the otherwise common genre. On the way to the finish line, you’ll have to tackle bad bosses like Macaron, Burger and Donut.Populus Run has a Hardcore mode, too, if you want it to be more challenging. And if you like to collect things, you can hunt down secret characters hidden throughout the levels. Like the giant, sentient strawberry.Catch a glimpse of the giant food chaos in Populus Run!

Will You Get Splendid Run?Published by FiftyTwo Games, Splendid Run lets you play the first few levels for free. But if you want to unlock the full game, it’s $3.99 on the Google Play Store. Go ahead and check it out. The game’s visuals and soundtrack are quite quirky, and it’s probably worth giving a try.
