Simple Lands Online Is a New Text-Based Strategy Game on Android

Simple Lands Online is an exciting new addition to the Google Play Store, recently reset to a fresh server. Originally a browser game, it now brings the charm of text-based strategy games with a modern twist. In Simple Lands Online, you start building your empire from the ground up, navigating a world where every decision counts.

The game strikes a perfect balance between risk and reward in battles. If an attack fails, you won't lose more than 25% of your forces, allowing you to regroup and strategize. Similarly, on defense, your losses are capped at 20%, ensuring you always have a chance to bounce back. This thoughtful design discourages mindless attacks and encourages strategic thinking.

You'll command infantry, archers, and cavalry across five distinct regions. Every move you make shapes your journey. The espionage system adds another layer of strategy, letting you train spies to either steal resources or gather crucial intel about your enemies. However, beware of their watchtowers, which could thwart your spying efforts.

Starting with nothing, you'll progress by managing your troops and resources, forming alliances, and navigating rival factions. Building your empire involves researching technology to enhance production, training more units to strengthen your army, and efficiently managing your kingdom. This includes assigning workers, boosting production, and optimizing your resources.

Combat plays a central role, but so does kingdom management. Battle logs track your victories and defeats, aiding in future planning and possibly seeking revenge. Simple Lands Online is free to play and available on the Google Play Store.

What's Next?

The developers have ambitious plans for the future, including the introduction of different server types such as permanent and speed servers. Currently, the game operates on a seasonal basis, ensuring a fresh start for everyone after each reset. Simple Lands Online echoes the feel of classic games like Kingdoms of Chaos, yet remains user-friendly and forgiving, encouraging players to experiment and enjoy the game at their own pace.
