Polytopia Adds Solaris, a Fire-Wielding Tribe

The fiery Solaris tribe has finally arrived on mobile in The Battle of Polytopia! After debuting on PC a few months ago, this blazing counterpart to the frosty Polaris is now available for mobile players, ready to scorch the Square to ashes.

Solaris Turns Up the Heat in The Battle of Polytopia

With the new Solaris skin, ice transforms into an inferno, snow becomes ash, and serene lakes turn into pools of lava. While it's technically the same tribe, their strategy has shifted from chilling tactics to intensely combustible warfare.

This update also brings a sizzling new backstory. It connects to an age-old conflict that has devastated entire worlds. The icy Polaris had already encountered the mysterious Gaami, but now the emergence of the Ralmi is turning up the temperature.

The Ralmi are fire-wielding invaders who have emerged from the underground, setting their sights on conquering the Square. Their initial move involves enslaving the Solaris and unleashing their fire magic across the terrain.

The Solaris Tribe's Unique Abilities

They possess the power to solidify water into lava, dramatically altering how you traverse the map. Their units, like the Pyro, ignite everything in their path as they advance, while Ash Archers can immobilize enemies by turning them to stone.

You'll also find the Steam Wagon, which glides swiftly over rivers of lava. To expand your empire, Lava Banks allow you to generate stars by setting the landscape ablaze. See the Solaris in action in the video below.

Master abilities like Heatwork for creating craters, Geothermics to power volcanic turbines, and Explosives to keep the action intense. Meanwhile, the Ralmi have introduced dangerous new elements, including the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
