Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, allowing players to tailor their loadout to their preferred combat style. Beyond standard firearms, unique weapon variants with enhanced stats and modifications exist, including the Cavalier sniper rifle. This distinctive weapon features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it highly effective at close to medium ranges. Here's how to acquire this powerful tool.

Acquiring the Cavalier Sniper Rifle

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle is located within the Duga base, specifically in a warehouse connected to a greenhouse near the Military Unit. You may already be familiar with this area if you've previously retrieved the Journalist's stash. Access is easiest via the secondary entrance.

Accessing the Warehouse

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate towards the Military Unit building (marked on your map). Circumvent the building to reach the greenhouse at its rear. Be wary of two Pseudogiants patrolling this area; they'll attack on sight. Proceed cautiously to avoid confrontation.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll enter the warehouse. Prepare for a swarm of rats upon entry; they'll inflict damage quickly. Utilize the elevated green platforms at the warehouse's back to gain a tactical advantage. A grenade is recommended to eliminate the rodent threat efficiently.

Retrieving the Cavalier

After dispatching the rats, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll notice yellow-painted wooden boards. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle.

After acquiring the Cavalier, you can have it upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its high damage and accuracy are further enhanced through upgrades and modifications. The Cavalier's red-dot sight makes it an excellent choice for players who prefer a scope-less sniper rifle, allowing for effective engagement in close to medium-range encounters.
