Fans eager to watch the premiere episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld can catch them exclusively in Fortnite before they arrive on Disney+.
Epic Games announced an expansion of its Star Wars content today, confirming that the animated spinoff's first two episodes will debut solely within Fortnite. This move aligns with the studio's Galactic Battle season, packed with Star Wars-themed rewards.
The Asajj Ventress-centric episodes will premiere May 2 at 10 a.m. ET via Fortnite's Star Wars Watch Party island - 48 hours ahead of Disney+'s release. Epic recommends linking Epic Games and MyDisney accounts; eligible players receive a First Order Stormtrooper outfit, with "additional perks" promised later.
"Disney and Epic are shaping social entertainment's future through this groundbreaking Star Wars partnership," stated Epic Games President Adam Sussman. "We're redefining immersive storytelling in Fortnite with this iconic franchise - expect much more soon."
The Watch Party island remains active until May 11, featuring a Battle Arena where players can wield lightsabers against enemy waves. Completing both episodes unlocks an exclusive Asajj Ventress loading screen.

Disney's Epic partnership extends beyond this season. Its March 2024 $1.5 billion investment ensures long-term collaboration, bringing more Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar cosmetics to Fortnite - including Darth Jar Jar and Emperor Palpatine skins.
Since 2017, Fortnite has maintained industry dominance through collaborations like Sabrina Carpenter's musical event, where players traded weapons for dance moves.
