Infinity Nikki's Phenomenal First Month: $16 Million in Mobile Revenue

Infinity Nikki, the latest installment in the popular Nikki series, has shattered expectations, generating nearly $16 million in mobile game revenue during its first month. This surpasses previous Nikki titles by an astounding 40 times, solidifying its position as the most successful launch in the franchise's history. Developed by Infold Games (Papergames in China), the game launched in December 2024 and quickly captivated players worldwide.

The game's success is largely attributed to its strong performance in China, where it boasts over 5 million downloads, representing over 42% of its total downloads. This significant contribution from the Chinese market fueled its impressive financial achievement.

Initial launch data from AppMagic (via Pocket Gamer) reveals a strong start, with $3.51 million in revenue during its first week, followed by $4.26 million and $3.84 million in the second and third weeks respectively. While weekly revenue subsequently decreased to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached nearly $16 million within the first month. This significantly outpaces the first-month revenue of Love Nikki ($383,000) and Shining Nikki's international launch ($6.2 million in 2021).

The game's daily revenue experienced fluctuations after its initial peak of over $1.1 million on December 6th. While daily earnings declined, reaching a low of $141,000 on December 26th, the release of Version 1.1 on December 30th spurred a significant resurgence, with revenue nearly tripling to $665,000.

Set in the vibrant world of Miraland, Infinity Nikki features a charming storyline centered around Nikki and her cat, Momo, as they explore diverse nations and solve puzzles using magically-enhanced outfits. The game's success is a testament to its engaging gameplay, captivating world, and the enduring appeal of the Nikki franchise.

Infinity Nikki is currently available for free on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The developers plan to sustain the game's momentum through regular updates and seasonal events, such as the recently launched Fishing Day Event, ensuring continued player engagement. The impressive financial results underscore the game's widespread appeal and successful market penetration.
