The much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 is slated for release in 2025, and with a Direct scheduled for later today, April 2nd, fans are buzzing with excitement about what's next. However, Nintendo might have already given us a sneak peek at the Switch 2 before the upcoming Direct, particularly regarding the new C button.
Nintendo has launched a new smartphone app called Nintendo Today, designed to deliver the latest news and game information directly to players. Sharp-eyed fans noticed that the app's listings on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store included promotional images, one of which prominently states, "Get updates on Nintendo Switch 2 news plus game info, videos, comics, and more every day."
A closer look at the image of the Nintendo Switch 2 reveals what appears to be the final version of the console, complete with newly designed Joycons and the confirmation of the mysterious C button on the right Joycon.
