Author : Ethan Mar 21,2025

Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada's LinkedIn profile recently indicated he's "#OpenToWork," sparking speculation about his departure from Bandai Namco after three decades. A screenshot shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Genki_JPN showed Harada seeking roles such as Executive Producer, Game Director, Business Development, Vice President, or Marketing positions, all based in Tokyo. This news understandably concerned fans.

However, Harada swiftly addressed the rumors on X, assuring fans there's no cause for alarm. He clarified that his LinkedIn update was simply a means to connect with more people within the industry, expanding his professional network and exploring future collaborations. He emphasized his continued employment at Bandai Namco.

This news is likely positive for Tekken fans. Harada's expanded network could lead to exciting new collaborations and ideas for the franchise, building on recent successes like the Tekken 8 crossover with Final Fantasy XVI, featuring Clive Rosfield and other characters as playable content.
