The Horizons Celebration event is making a vibrant return to Pokémon Go, and it's bringing along a dazzling, smashing, and undeniably pink newcomer: Tinkatink. From April 16th to 22nd, players can experience the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. These Pokémon come equipped with hammers that are not just for show; Tinkaton is renowned for hurling rocks at Corviknight. To evolve your Tinkatink into Tinkaton, you'll need to gather around 125 Candies throughout the event.
Adding a charming twist to the event, Floragato sporting a hat adorned with Liko's pin will be appearing in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. Keep an eye out for the elusive Shiny version of Floragato. Other notable Pokémon such as Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet may also make appearances.
A variety of Paldea favorites like Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi will be roaming the wild. Meanwhile, seven km Eggs have the potential to hatch familiar faces including Hatenna, Elekid, and Tinkatink. Don’t miss out on snapshot surprises as characters from Horizons and their Pokémon might photobomb your pictures.
On the combat front, Pikachu in Cap’s hat will boast the special move Volt Tackle. Raids will feature a mix of powerful Pokémon such as Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. For those looking to maximize their rewards, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances will be halved, and both Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards will be increased.
Engage in Field Research, and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities, which offer additional rewards including an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
