T-Mobile Boosts Plans With Perks and 5-Year Price Lock

Author : Samuel Nov 14,2025

In April, T-Mobile introduced two new family mobile plans to replace the Go5G and Go5G Plus offerings. The new "Experience Beyond" and "Experience More" plans retain all the advantages of the Go5G plans while adding benefits such as a 5-year fixed price guarantee, increased mobile hotspot data, and T-Satellite connectivity with Starlink (for "Experience Beyond"), all at a reduced monthly cost.

The "Experience More" plan offers excellent value for most users, providing unlimited talk, text, and premium 4G/5G data for just $45 per month (with AutoPay), a 5-year price guarantee, and subscriptions to Netflix and Apple TV+. The two-year upgrade cycle suits most people, who typically don't upgrade smartphones annually.

However, if you prefer having the latest smartphone technology, plan to add a tablet or Apple Watch, or travel frequently (benefiting from higher international data allowances or Starlink connectivity), the "Experience Beyond" plan is a compelling option at $60 monthly (with AutoPay).

Switching Carriers? T-Mobile Offers Incentives

As part of its Family Freedom program, T-Mobile will cover up to $800 per line to pay off your existing AT&T or Verizon phones (even if locked) and help fund a new device when you trade in. Families can also take advantage of promotions like four flagship phones on the house and four new voice lines for just $100/month on Essentials.

Families save up to 20% with T-Mobile compared to AT&T and Verizon

No Annual Contract Plans – What to Know

This does not apply to your device payment plan

T-Mobile's Experience plans are postpaid and do not require an annual service contract, so you can cancel at any time. Please note that if you finance a phone through T-Mobile, you must continue payments for the full term, typically 24 months. While you can pay off your phone early, doing so may cause you to lose remaining monthly bill credits, which are often used to discount the device. As always, read all terms and conditions before entering into any agreement.
