Totodile Returns for Pokémon Go Community Day Classic in March 2025

Author : Hannah Apr 03,2025

Pokémon Go's March Community Day Classic is set to spotlight Totodile on March 22nd, giving fans another opportunity to catch this beloved Big Jaw Pokémon in abundance. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, you'll see an increased number of Totodile in the wild, with the added thrill of possibly encountering a Shiny Totodile.

If you evolve Croconaw into Feraligatr during the event or up until March 29th at 10:00 pm local time, your Feraligatr will learn the powerful Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. This move boasts 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and raids, making it an excellent addition to your Water-type team.

To maximize your rewards, consider purchasing the Community Day Classic Special Research for $2 (or the local equivalent). Completing this research will grant you valuable rewards such as a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and multiple encounters with Totodile, some of which may feature a Seasonal Special Background.

ytLogging in during the Community Day Classic will also unlock Timed Research that lasts for a full week, providing additional chances to encounter Totodile and evolve it into a Feraligatr with Hydro Cannon before the deadline. Don't forget to use Pokémon Go codes to stock up on extra goodies.

Several bonuses will enhance your experience during the event. Eggs placed in Incubators will hatch at 1/4 the usual distance, Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours, and taking snapshots might lead to a delightful surprise.

Community Day-themed Field Research tasks will offer Stardust, Great Balls, and more Totodile encounters. Keep an eye on PokéStop Showcases to compete with others using Pokémon caught during the event.

To round off the event, two special bundles packed with rewards will be available in the in-game shop. You can also explore the Pokémon Go Web Store for additional offers.
