Unlock the AEK-973 Full Auto Mod in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone
The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973 marksman rifle, revitalizing this previously underperforming weapon. This guide details how to unlock this attachment in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
This limited-time attachment is obtainable during The Terminator event, running until February 20th. Post-event, it's anticipated to become available through the Armory Unlocks system.
To unlock the Full Auto mod, players must collect 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by:
- Black Ops 6 Multiplayer & Zombies: Eliminating enemies has a chance to drop Skulls.
- Warzone: Opening loot caches yields a chance for Skull drops.
The most efficient Skull farming methods include:
- Zombies (Round 6 Method): Activate the Rampage Inducer, play until Round 6, then exit the match. Repeat this process.
- Warzone Resurgence Solos: Quickly locate and open loot caches across the map.
Once you've accumulated 50 Skulls, redeem them for the Full Auto mod in the event tab.
Full Auto Mod Functionality:
The Full Auto mod transforms the AEK-973 from burst-fire to full-auto, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. It pairs well with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine.
While significantly reducing damage and range, the increased rate of fire maintains a competitive time-to-kill. However, the AEK-973's inherent slow handling remains unchanged. Consider using attachments to improve handling and mobility, or utilize it as a mid-to-long-range battle rifle.
