"Unlocking the Unbound Emote Pose in FFXIV: A Guide"

With the exciting release of patch 7.16 in *Final Fantasy XIV*, players have the opportunity to embark on new quests and collect fresh cosmetics, including the highly sought-after Pose of the Unbound emote. Here's a detailed guide on how to unlock this unique emote in *FFXIV*.

Getting the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

To acquire the Pose of the Unbound emote, you must first complete the quest known as Imposing Views. You can initiate this quest by speaking with the Unbound Agent NPC, found in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal, at coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5.

Before you can access Imposing Views, ensure you have completed the quest Picking Up the Torch. To do this, you'll need to finish all five role quests in the game. This involves reaching level 100 with a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class. After hitting the required levels, head to Tulliyollal to pick up and complete each class's role quest. Successfully completing these quests will unlock Picking Up the Torch, which in turn, allows you to accept Imposing Views in Ul’dah.

Fortunately, Imposing Views is a straightforward quest. Simply travel to the Sagolii Desert, engage in multiple conversations with Apyaahi, and take down a few monsters. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with the Pose of the Unbound emote.

To use your new emote, simply type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will then strike a fun, Jojo-inspired pose.

That's everything you need to know about obtaining the Pose of the Unbound emote in *FFXIV*. For more tips, information, and our *Dawntrail* review, as well as the latest patch release schedule, be sure to visit The Escapist.
