Unveiled: Secret Source for Warped Wire in NieR: Automata

NieR: Automata's vast enemy roster drops diverse materials crucial for pod and weapon upgrades. While many materials are acquired naturally, some, like Warped Wire, necessitate targeted farming. This guide pinpoints an efficient Warped Wire farming location.

Warped Wire Farming Location in NieR: Automata

Warped Wire is a potential drop from stacked bipedal machines. These enemies are uncommon, but concentrated in one area: Fast travel to the Desert Camp access point. Proceed along the path towards the main desert. Before reaching the open desert, you'll traverse mountains, following a pipe through some ruins. This section consistently spawns multiple stacked machines.

Two small clearings near ruined structures are prime farming spots. All machines near these buildings are the stacked variety. Warped Wire boasts a reasonable drop rate; expect one or two per clearing. Equip a Drop Rate Up plug-in chip to expedite the process.

Respawning Enemies for Faster Farming:

To quickly replenish enemies:

  • Fast travel to another location, then return to Desert Camp. This is the most efficient method.
  • Alternatively, run a significant distance away and return; however, this is considerably slower.

Investing in drop rate increase chips is highly recommended, given the frequency of material farming required for weapon upgrades. Movement Speed increase chips also enhance travel efficiency between access points, beneficial for both farming and completing racing side quests.
