Urshifu Debuts in Pokémon GO

The Might and Mastery season in Pokémon GO is drawing to a close, culminating in the Final Strike: GO Battle Week, which begins on May 21st, 2025, and runs until May 27th. This week marks the final chapter for your Kubfu's journey to becoming the legendary Urshifu, available in two unique forms. Depending on your battling style, you can evolve Kubfu into either Single Strike or Rapid Strike Urshifu. To unlock Single Strike, ensure Kubfu is your buddy and defeat 30 Dark-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. For Rapid Strike, achieve the same feat but against 30 Water-type Pokémon.

Alongside the evolution quest, a Special Research storyline continues, available until June 3rd, 2025. This research provides Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and encounters with themed Pokémon, including Charcadet featuring a Special Background.

May 25th Is a Special Day

Mark your calendar for May 25th, as it's the Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, you'll have the chance to participate in six-star Max Battles featuring Gigantamax Machamp's debut. During this event, you'll benefit from additional bonuses: you'll need to travel only one-fourth the usual distance to earn Max Particles, your Max Particle storage limit will increase to 1,600, and all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles. You'll also earn 8× Max Particles from these battles and gain two extra Special Trades.

Don't miss out on collecting Max Mushrooms, which temporarily double the damage output of your Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon. While you can use multiple mushrooms to extend the duration, the power boost remains constant.

Prepare for the Final Strike: GO Battle Week by downloading Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store and gearing up for an exciting finale to the Might and Mastery season.
